Powerpuff Girls SXSW Premiere Party
Embolden a new generation of kids to discover their inner Powfactor and embrace The Powerpuff Girls in a larger-than-life premiere party at SXSW
After a decade off-air, Cartoon Network’s animated series The Powerpuff Girls made a comeback of enormous proportions.
To excite, engage, and empower both the young and young at heart, the event included a traffic-stopping parade, led by jumbo-sized balloons of the three crime-fighting superheroes and a live marching band; a custom-designed lenticular photo booth, video games, temporary tattoos, t-shirts, and an almost illegal amount of sugary sweets; and of course, the world premiere of the show’s first episode.
The shrieks of glee from 1,500 wild, chanting, cotton candy-fueled fans quickly translated to social buzz and national media attention.
